We currently (sometimes) use an externally hosted tool for tracking style hints. We don't have a tool yet for checking completeness of type hints. I think these would be easier to manage if we have Github Actions workflows for these along the builds and tests.
One practical benefit is that developers will be able to see exactly which commands they can use to run these checks locally, from the workflow code.
