This is a Ruby script to generate a colored 2d map using perlin-noise.
The algorithm was taken from http://devmag.org.za/2009/04/25/perlin-noise/ and ported to ruby.
In order to generate the image RMagick is used.

Note that Ruby1.9 or higher is required for execution as well as RMagick2.
