Steps for a proper installation

  • flash your radio to the latest OpenTX/EdgeTX release
  • enable lua support (if available as an option) by checking the relevant options prior to flashing your radio with Companion

  • Copy the contents of the SD folder to your radio SD Card.

  • Make sure you have the WIDGETS/YaapuMaps/cfg, WIDGEST/YaapuMaps/lib, WIDGEST/YaapuMaps/images folders.

Note: Power cycle the radio to clear widget caches!

  • Follow this guide to setup the script as an OpenTX full screen widget, at step 6 of "Mandatory steps" select "YaapuMaps" and you should be presented with the Yaapu Mapping widget main screen.

  • The Widgt support 2 MAPS providers, GMAPCacther or Google, the tiles download procedure differs, please check

The script is already compiled and only needs to be copied to the radio SD card.

Enable OpenTX sensor logging to SD card (optional)

Logging of sensor data (GPS for instance) to your SD card is possible by using the built in OpenTX logging facilitiy, check this guide to setup your system.
