File Transfer

Log in using the ‘Login’ at the top right of the page
- you should be redirected to your dashboard
Click on View Works
- you should be redirected to your file listing
On a Work, Under the ‘Select an action’ drop menu, select ‘Transfer Ownership of Work’
- This option will not be available for any file that is not owned by the user logged in
Type at least two characters of the access ID of the person you want to transfer the file to
- You can search by Access ID or First name or Last name
Click ‘Transfer’ and confirm ownership transfer by clicking ‘OK’
If the user being transferred to is the same as the user transferring, you will be sent back to the main page with an error across the top reading: Sending user must specify another user to receive the file
Once the file transfer is accepted, user will receive a notification that reads: Your transfer request was accepted
For incoming transfers, user will receive a notification that reads: Username wants to transfer a file to you. Review all transfer requests
To review incoming transfers, select 'transfer requests' from the drop menu next to your username
Here, you may Accept or Reject the file transfer
Upon Accepting, you can use the drop menu on the Accept button to change the depositor’s privileges
Going back to the dashboard you will see the new file that has been transferred to you
